Parkside Community College
is a Foundation school. Foundation schools own
the school buildings and site, employ their own staff and
act as their own admissions authority.
When Parkside became a Foundation school, a trust was established
to control the freehold and leasehold of the college buildings,
and to safeguard the ethos of the college as a non-selective
school serving the community of central Cambridge. Membership
of this trust, The City of Cambridge Education Foundation, is
open to all registered users of the college over the age of eighteen.
The Foundation Trust is managed by a Board partly
elected by the membership but also including representatives
of local bodies such as the City and County Councils, local business
and partner primary schools.
The Board members are:
Pat Mitchell (Chair)
Martin Ballard
Mark Carrington
Tim Cole
Benedicte Foo
Nick Hood
Andrew Hutchinson
Anthony Hymans
Jane Phillips
Andrew Webster
